| I have been enjoying flower arranging more than 15 years. I was working for a foreign firm in Tokyo, but I knew flower arrangement would be my life time work. During my vacation at work, I have been to England to learn English flower arrangement and floristry. I met a great teacher, Mrs. Rona Coleman at the Flower Design of Britain. This is the best flower school I have ever found. The floristry program was designed really effectively. I learned many different styles, methods including business management. I felt so confident after graduation. Now the Flower Design of Britain has several different courses for busy persons. There are 1 week courses to 6 weeks professional courses for floristry. Working holiday visa will be available in April, 2001, if you are under the age limit (25years old), you may be able to try the new system for long term study and traineeships at flower shops.. |
| Flower school in England Private school for professional floristry. Rather small classes. The number of classes are maximum 6BAs the location is not in London, flowers, accommodations and everything are very attractive prices. Leading designers of British Interflora organization will provide lessons occasionally. Location of the flower school Weston-super-Mare is only 2and half hours from London by train. Also 30 minutes from Bristol airport. Nice seaside resort area. During the 8 weeks course, you may have a great chance to visit major flower shows in England. Check it out here! My recommendation is from Spring to Early Autumn. Flowers and landscapes are beautiful over the hills. Flights are easy to get during March and April and less expensive. It may be too cold to visit England during winter time from Asian countries. |
